Join us for ideaSPARK: inspiring speakers and provocative discussions about the future of creativity in the Triangle!

Vintage 21 is located at 117 S. West St
(the back side of the bldg formerly known as Jillians)

FREE to the public! Join us for the kick-off reception of SPARKcon. Dan Douglas will be our keynote speaker, there's an open art exhibit with over 80 artists work represented, and there are fabulous tapas by the Red Room and wine by the NC Wine & Grape Council. AND, you can register for the speaker/workshop sessions and/or pick up your registration badges

Local Creativity, Speakers and Workshops

Registering for the ideaSPARK series entitles you to see any or all of the speakers and join in the afternoon creative sessions (AND registration entitles you to discounts at all of the musicSPARK shows!!).

Each day four speakers will address the what, how, & why's of creativity in relation to their specific area of expertise, and then challenge us with a provocative question. We will develop lively responses to that question in informal, 90 minute workshops. To conclude each day, the ideas generated in each workshop will be presented and discussed amongst the four groups.

The schedule for Friday and Saturday:
9:30-10a Coffee
10-12a (main stage) 4 speakers at 15-20 minutes each
12-2p Lunch
2-3:30p (classrooms) Workshops facilitated by designbox from original speaker topics (speaker attendance is optional)
3:30-4p Coffee
4-5ish (main stage) Workshop presentations & summary

You can Register for workshops in 2 ways:

Be a "100for100" supporter. Our fundraising is the same as the rest of SPARK CON...grass roots. Being a "100for100" supporter automatically registers you for the speakers and workshops, entitles you to discounts to the musicSPARK shows, AND gives SPARK CON a little extra in the way of a donation.
